How Does Spark Work?

Neubria Spark is a natural memory supplement that acts upon the biological pathways involved in the non-pathological ageing of the brain, including oxidative damage, mitochondrial function and neuroinflammation. These factors are associated with memory disorders.

1. Oxidative Damage

Vitamins A, B, C, D and E, zinc, magnesium, copper, selenium, citicoline/choline and co-enzyme Q10 have been demonstrated to act as extrinsic antioxidants as well as essential components in supporting enzyme systems involved in this process at an intracellular level

2. Mitochondrial Dysfunction

Micronutrients such as B vitamins, vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, selenium, citicoline/choline, and co-enzyme Q 10 are essential for efficient mitochondrial function.

3. Inflammation & Neurodegeneration

Vitamins such as A, B, C, D and K as well as minerals like magnesium together with polyphenolic compounds present in turmeric, bacopa and ashwagandha have been demonstrated to deliver benefits in slowing neurodegeneration. Similarly multivitamins and minerals, as well as curcumin, bacopa, ashwagandha and ginkgo biloba have been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory effects in the brain.

Evidence suggests that a higher intake of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids may be beneficial for the ageing brain, exerting favourable effects on brain function, including memory. Krill oil is recommended as its structural configuration increases the bioavailability of omega-3 over the triglyceride form.

Consumption of polyphenolic-rich fruits and vegetables is also recommended, as it can help prevent and even reverse age-related cognitive deficits by lowering oxidative stress and inflammation
